It’s been an interesting past few weeks for the University of Texas football team. Just days after a pet monkey story went viral involving an assistant football coach’s girlfriend, more news is coming out on what appears to be video showing assistant coach Bo Davis going after his players after they lost to Iowa State Saturday, 30-7.
Davis is clearly upset with his players not taking the loss seriously and laughing. He is not only cursing but telling them to get in the transfer portal and leave the program.
“Some of you motherf—s need to get in the transfer portal. This s—t ain’t a game to me and if you think it’s a game, get the f—k off of this bus,” Davis said. “I got my ass kicked and you motherf—s wanna laugh? This s—t is real. You think it’s a goddamn joke? I’m tired of this s—t because this s—t is goddamn real. And we wanna laugh and joke? F—k that.”
Although the video says it is Bo Davis, it has not been confirmed and the player that leaked it out has not been identified.
The loss dropped the Horns to 4-5 overall and 2-4 in the Big 12.
Texas is such on a downward spiral that they are on the verge of missing a bowl game once again this season. They’ll need to win two of those three to become bowl eligible as Sarkisian’s record as a head coach now sits at 50-40 for his career.
