A few days ago, the Atlanta Falcons had announced the signing of kicker Blair Walsh and two other players.
You remember Walsh, the same guy who missed a 27-yard field attempt wide left in the final seconds of a 2015 playoff game, costing the Vikings a win against the Seahawks and their season.
Yeah, that day still haunts him.
During his third chance at redemption, Walsh was said to have gone 4-9 or 5-9 on field goals at practice.

Not good for a guy who was brought on to serve as competition for the struggling Giorgio Tavecchio, who has only hit four of eight field goals so far this preseason.
Walsh was cut by the Vikings and signed by the Seahawks, where he would go on to make only 21-of-29 field goals in 2017. He was not re-signed and would ultimately sit out the entire 2018 season.
This is likely his last chance before NFL teams give up on him altogether.
