This is not a good look for the Miami Hurricanes football program.
Once thought of to be the pinnacle of college football, the Miami Hurricanes have fallen on tough times in recent years. Their last national championship came back in 2001, while their last conference title was back in 2003.
Their inability to win on the field has translated into empty seats in the stands. And that was quite evident on Saturday, when they had a rather embarrassing turnout for their home game against no. 10 ranked Louisville.
ESPN’s cameras caught a glimpse of the stands at Hard Rock Stadium, and it was not a pretty sight.
All those fans who didn’t show up to today’s game certainly didn’t help their team’s cause, as the Hurricanes could have used the extra support during their 38-31 loss to the Cardinals.
With the loss, the Canes drop to 6-5 on the season and 2-5 in ACC Conference play.
