Sabrina Ionescu’s third game came to a close a little earlier than expected after the No. 1 overall pick had to be helped to the locker room with an apparent ankle injury midway through the second quarter.
Ionescu appeared to roll her ankle over the foot of Atlanta Dream guard Betnijah Laney while bring the ball up court.

Ionescu put on an absolute show on Wednesday night, dropping 33 points, seven rebounds and seven assists in her second professional game. The 33 points came on an efficient 11-for-20 shooting from the field and 6-for-10 from three.
