March Madness is now underway, with the NCAA Tournament having kicked off this week.

Every year, someone pops up to grab the headlines – whether it be a player, fan, or coach – as emotions run pretty high. This time around, a cheerleader is the one who’s turned heads.
During Thursday’s game between Utah State and Missouri, the cameras zoned in on a performer who could not contain herself while her Aggies appeared to be headed home.
Of course, the cameras stayed locked in as her lips quivered, clearly devastated by Utah State’s impending fate. They ended up losing 76-65.
The cheerleader has since been identified as Ashlyn Whimpey, who’s taken full advantage of her newfound fame, though it wasn’t for an entirely positive reason. She used to have private accounts on Instagram and TikTok but has opened them up since the loss.

She also posted a video of the pertinent moment to IG, captioning it “going out with a bang.”
Ashlyn is now up to over 7.7K Instagram followers since the cameras caught up with her, proving that all publicity is good publicity.
