Taking a stand for social justice is par for the course in the WNBA. In fact, the WNBA announced it would be dedicating the 2020 season to Breonna Taylor and Say Her Name, a campaign fighting for justice for Black women.
Over the weekend, players on the Seattle Storm and New York Liberty players walked off the court before the national anthem ahead of their game.
