Arch Manning is not just putting all of his eggs in one basket.
Manning is the No. 1 recruit for the Class of 2023, but football isn’t the only sport he is shining in right now. At the same time he is being courted by multiple schools for what he can do with his arm on the field, the 6-foot-4, 215-pound junior is dishing out sick no-look passes on the court.
Through eight games played this year, Manning is averaging 3.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 0.8 steals per game.
Newman is 12-4 on the court, with their next big matchup coming against Sierra Canyon, which is headlined by Bronny James. You can fully expect that gym to be packed out for this one.

As far as his football career goes, Manning hasn’t decided where he’s going to college, but he has a lot of offers. Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, Texas, Tennessee and Ole Miss have offered Arch a spot on their teams once he graduates. He’s been visiting the schools this year, along with attending some of their football games.
In October, Manning spoke with Sports Illustrated and offered that his decision may come way before 2022’s National Signing Day.
“I think I’ll have a good idea, a good feeling, probably around next summer or next spring,” Manning said. “Right now I have no idea.”
