Dick Vitale is back and we are happy to see him.
On Tuesday night, the legendary broadcaster made his return back to the booth to call the game between the Gonzaga Bulldogs and UCLA Bruins.
Dickie V so saw overwhelmed that he started crying live on television.
Vitale recently overcame a melanoma diagnosis but unfortunately the legend announced last month that a second battle with cancer is underway: “For the second time in just a few months, I’ve been diagnosed with a form of cancer. As a result of some symptoms I’ve had in recent weeks, I’ve been undergoing tests and doctors have now confirmed it’s lymphoma.”
This week, the ESPN analyst officially began his six-month chemotherapy treatment as one of the first patients of Sarasota Memorial Hospital’s new Oncology Tower.
