Who brings a basketball to a protest? It’s the year 2020, so this shouldn’t even shock us.
All around the country, we have seen a ridiculous amount of people coming out of their homes to come together and protest the unjust murder of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police.
Among the cities protesting was Bridgeport, Connecticut where people had their demonstration on Route 8. Traffic was shut down in both directions for more than three hours and with state police giving three separate requests for them to clear the roadway or be arrested, two protesters “agree to be peacefully and respectfully charged.”
In the mdist of that demonstration, somebody brought a basketball out and people started practicing their best crossover moves in the midst of protesting.
