Bill Walton is the gift that keeps on giving.
Those who stayed up to watch the Colorado Buffaloes take on the California Golden Bears in the Pac-12 tournament quarterfinals were absolutely treated to an assortment of noises coming from the one and only Bill Walton.
With California up 7-0 early in the game, Walton appeared to impersonate a buffalo with a “thorn stuck in his hoof.”
“I’m not sure what noise that is, you’re supposed to whimper when you get a thorn in your hoof,” his broadcasting partner, Dave Pasch, said.
“That’s a snort,” Walton responded.
Later on in the game, Walton decided to growl like a bear after California went on a scoring run.

“The bears come right back – arggghhh, growling, scratching, clawing, looking for some fish,” Walton said.
“So glad you’re six feet away,” Pasch said in response.
