Things turned quite ugly towards the end of a basketball game between Texas Southern and Alabama State on Sunday night. Shortly after the final buzzer sounded, players from both teams were seen jawing at mid-court, and soon after, fists started flying.
As you’ll see below, things got heated near press row as the fight between the Tigers and the Hornets spilled off the court.
On Tuesday morning, the Southwestern Athletic Conference released a statement on the brawl between the two basketball programs.

“The Southwestern Athletic Conference has a zero tolerance policy regarding unsportsmanlike conduct,” the league said in a statement. “The Conference Office will review all relevant information and will take appropriate action once the review is completed.”
Texas Southern walked away with a dominant win, 81-54, over Alabama State.
