Madden San Miguel, A.K.A “Baby Gronk,” has flipped his “commitment” from Michigan just 10 days after announcing he was set to play for the reigning national champions.
The 11-year-old internet celebrity and budding football star committed to Ohio State on May 10. Just four days later, he took to social media to declare he would be heading to Michigan instead.
Now, he’s looking to play for one of the most intriguing programs in college football, having returned online to announce a commitment to Colorado.
The Buffaloes received nationwide attention last season as Deion Sanders started his first season with the program by going 3-0 before losing Travis Hunter to a nasty injury. Things didn’t continue in that vein, yet Coach Prime will have eyes on him wherever he goes, and CU remains one of the most talked about football teams as the former NFL cornerback heads into his second season in charge.
“I WILL PLAY FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO,” BG tweeted on Friday morning.

Baby Gronk Spared By Community Notes
Surprisingly, Baby Gronk wasn’t checked by X’s community notes, at least not at the time of writing. Said notes typically call him out for not actually receiving scholarship offers from any of the schools he announces commitments to.
“Hello yeah! We made the baby gronk list!” a Buffaloes fan account responded. “Gotta come to compete, though!”
“Nah baby gronk you don’t wanna play for clicks,” another user joked.
“this is like the 10th school you’ve commited to,” one pointed out.
Since last July, Miguel San Madden has announced commitments to LSU, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Missouri, Ohio State, Michigan, and now Colorado.
