Jashawn Sheffield had one hell of a May but for all the wrong reasons.
The Auburn redshirt freshman was arrested in Georgia twice in just eleven days time.
Sheffield was arrested for disorderly conduct on May 9 and then just week later, he was arrested under suspicion of DUI in Statesboro, Ga. Both charges are misdemeanors in the state of Georgia.
Sheffield was released on $1,576 bond for the DUI arrest.
Head coach Gus Malzahn was aware of Sheffield’s arrests and that Sheffield has been suspended indefinitely.
The former four-star prospect made his college debut during Auburn’s win against Samford, when he finished with two carries for 30 yards during the Tigers’ 52-0 shutout of the Bulldogs.
