Arrest Warrant Issued For Bo Pelini’s Brother, Carl, For Giving Wife a Black Eye, Blood Found In Kitchen

An arrest warrant was reportedly issued for the brother of Bo Pelini. According to a report by 21 WFMJ-TV in Youngstown, Ohio, an arrest warrant out for Youngstown (Ohio) Cardinal Mooney High School head football coach Carl Pelini.

Pelini is being charged with domestic violence.

Police say Pelini’s wife, Julie, said her husband struck her while they were arguing. Officers noted that she had a black eye and also found blood on the kitchen floor.

An ambulance was called, but the wife declined medical attention and refused to sign a written statement.

Pelini had already left the home.

As noted above, Pelini is the brother of former Youngstown State University head coach Bo Pelini, who left for Louisiana State University.

Cardinal Mooney has placed the head coach on paid administrative leave pending an investigation and final resolution. School president Tom Maj has named Mike Tucci has interim head coach for the time being.
