New Texas Longhorns’ quarterback Arch Manning certainly looks ready for the big stage.
The 18-year-old Manning announced his commitment to the Longhorns last year. Manning is expected to be a backup to star Quinn Ewers, widely projected to be an early first-round pick in next year’s draft.
All Manning can do for now is continue to put the time and effort in and await his chance. And as you can see in the image below, it’s clear that Manning and his fellow Longhorns quarterbacks are not missing a single gym session:
Manning is the son of Cooper Manning and the nephew of former two-time Super Bowl champion-winning quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning. Arch’s grandfather, Archie Manning, was an NFL quarterback for the New Orleans Saints, Houston Oilers and the Minnesota Vikings.
Cooper was also a star football player in high school and committed to the University of Mississippi. Unfortunately, the ultra-talented wide receiver had to retire from football before beginning his NCAA Career because of spinal stenosis.
Peyton and Eli were drafted first overall in the 1998 and 2004 drafts by the Indianapolis Colts and San Diego Chargers, respectively. Eli wound up getting traded to the New York Giants in a blockbuster trade that sent fellow QB and 2004 draftee Philip Rivers over to the west coast.

Eli led the Giants to Super Bowl championships in 2007 and 2011. Peyton won it all with the Colts in 2006 and again with the Denver Broncos in 2015.
