Arch Manning is the biggest name in the 2023 recruiting class, and a handful of big-time schools are in the mix for his services. At last check, Alabama, Texas, Georgia, Florida, LSU and Ole Miss were still in the running for his services.
According to Steve Witfong of 247Sports, three schools have “done a really good job” recruiting Manning and they appear to be at the top of his list as a result. Those three are Alabama, Georgia and Texas
“As he continues to be diligent with this process, the schools, of course, that are in the mix are Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss and Texas,” Witfong said on the 247Sports Recruiting Podcast Wednesday. “I think that Alabama, Georgia and Texas, particularly, have done a really good job with Arch, who has high interest in all the schools I mentioned. LSU’s making a later move here under the new coaching staff, and the same goes for Florida, and I think he wants to give those programs a good look. He’s intrigued by them.”
Manning’s recruitment will continue to draw headlines, as he’s the top-rated QB in the 2023 class. This upcoming fall is going to be an important one for teams hoping to lure the nephew of Peyton and Eli Manning to their program.
He has thrown for 6,307 yards with 81 touchdown passes and 19 rushing scores in three seasons as the starting QB at Isidore Newman High School in New Orleans.
