Fans were all saying the same thing about Arch Manning following Quinn Ewers announcing his decision as it pertains to the 2024 NFL Draft.
Ewers has confirmed that he will remain at Texas for another season after firing the Longhorns to the CFP College Playoffs in 2023. His decision likely spells another season on the bench for Manning, who joined the program as the No. 1 overall prospect but hardly got any playing time during the campaign.
Fans have predicted that the latter will enter the transfer portal as he only has two eligible years left after next season and will need to put a body of work together if he is to follow family tradition and go into the pros as the first-overall pick.

There’s one problem with that, though. The transfer portal closed earlier this month…
While Manning has accepted his role with grace, he probably won’t be pleased at the possibility of riding the bench for a second consecutive season.
Speaking to reporters before the Rose Bowl, the quarterback was insistent on remaining in Texas. He must have been aware of Quinn’s plans back then as everyone else expected last season’s starter to stick around.
In any case, it’s too late to jump into the portal now.
