Three schools have been named as potential transfer destinations for highly-rated quarterback Arch Manning.
The signal-caller was one of the most sought-after players in the nation before he committed to Texas. His decision led to plenty of questions, with most folks wondering whether the Longhorns would throw him into the thick of things immediately.
With just three more games to go in the regular season, Arch is yet to make a single start. His usage isn’t simply down to Quinn Ewers’ form as sophomore Maalik Murphy started when Ewers was out with a sprained shoulder.
This has led to speculation over the player possibly transferring as a result of his stagnating career with the Longhorns.
Three schools are now being tipped to land the talented QB should he decide to leave the Longhorns. Ohio State makes the most sense as, while they’ve been winning this season, Kyle McCord hasn’t been all that great. Should Manning move there, he could be given an opportunity while he would also be thrust into a winning mold.
USC could also be good for him as Caleb Williams is headed to the NFL and coach Lincoln Riley has a reputation for developing QBs. The Trojans will be focused on shoring up their defense, however, they will also be keen on getting another top signal-caller to run the offense.

Ole Miss is also considered a destination because of the QB’s relationship with Lane Kiffin, though the head coach could be in hot water after a viral audio leak. But Manning could also be patient and bide his time. We’ll just have to wait and see.
