It’s looking more and more likely that Arch Manning will be playing college football elsewhere at another location.
College football fans are convinced Arch Manning may transfer as Maalik Murphy continues to play well for Texas football.
Arch Manning was supposed to be the face of the Texas Longhorns but he has yet to take a snap this year and it appears he will not be doing so. Starting quarterback Quinn Ewers is currently out with an injury and head coach Steve Sarkisian has opted to replace him with the veteran Maalik Murphy.
In the meantime, five schools are being mentioned as programs that Manning may transfer to.
Oregon, Alabama, Ohio State, Ole Miss, and USC have been named possible landing spots.
The Longhorns found themselves in a battle vs. Kansas State on Saturday as Maalik Murphy at quarterback would go on to win the game 33-30 in overtime as Arch Manning looked on from the sideline.
Murphy, who was making his second start of the season in place of the injured Quinn Ewers, completed 19 of his 37 passes for 248 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions.

According to reports, the Longhorns are optimistic that Ewers will be able to return for their road trip to Fort Worth to take on TCU next Saturday. It does not look like Manning will get any time on the field no matter how Murphy plays.
