LSU star Angel Reese has landed herself another lucrative NIL deal following her exploits at the end of the most recent NCAA season.
Reece, who led the Tigers to an NCAA Championship earlier this year, has now joined Reebok as an official partner.
Last week, the sportswear company announced having made two major appointments, signing Shaquille O’Neal on as president of basketball, with Allen Iverson named vice president of basketball. The former NBA players have wasted no time bringing another notable athlete to the brand as they’ve secured the company’s first major NIL signing.
“I am honored to be working closely with one of my longtime mentors, Shaq, along with a brand that I have admired since I was just a little kid,” Reese said, per Front Office Sports. “It means the world to me that they trust in me to extend their legacy to a new generation.”
O’Neal played his college basketball at LSU while Reece is set to return for her senior season after making a name for herself in the 2022/23 NCAA Tournament.
“For my first appointment in this role, it had to be the GOAT,” the former Lakers and Heat center remarked. “There is no one making a bigger impact on the game right now than Angel Reese.”
