Angel Reese offered a funny reaction to LSU head coach Kim Mulkey getting kicked out of the Tigers’ win over Northwestern State, as well as having to hold her back, on Sunday night.
LSU won the game by 40 but Mulkey was not a happy camper and got herself ejected, with Reese having to keep her hands on her to make sure the coach didn’t make things worse.

Reese spoke to reporters after the game and claimed that having to hold her coach back was “fun.”
“It was fun,” she quipped. “I mean, me and coach Mulkey have similar personalities, and we really like to win no matter the score. And of course, she’s gonna fight for us, and we all fight for her. So, in that moment, it was fun, and we knew we had her back, and she had our back.”

The Tigers are 11-1 following the win, having won 10 straight since losing their opening game against Colorado, but their season has been filled with drama.
Reese went through an unexplained absence after getting benched for the entire second half of a game last month while Kateri Poole has since left the team for reasons that remain unknown.
