Angel Reese and the LSU Tigers caught a victory in the national championship when they defeated Caitlyn Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes. Things went crazy for Reese as she was seen mocking Clark several times during and after the game was over.
Reese ultimately faced backlash after reacting to Jill Biden inviting the losing team to the White House. Despite that, many supported Reese and her team, including Lil Wayne and Shaq.
While on ‘The Breakfast Club,’ teammates Flau’jae and Reese spoke about who showed support for them. DJ Envy asked who reached out to the basketball players
Reese then revealed popular rappers Drake and Future hopped in her DMs, but only to congratulate them.
“They just congratulated me. It’s all congratulations,” Reese said.
DJ Envy then mentioned Drake having a basketball court at his crib, saying, “Then Drake gonna say, ‘Yo, you know I got a basketball court at the crib?’ Did he say that yet?” Both Reese and Flau’jae looked at one another before laughing and moving to the next subject.

She mentioned it once again on Twitter for people thinking it was more than what it was.
In just their second season under head coach Kim Mulkey, the Tigers reached the Final Four of the NCAA women’s basketball tournament for the sixth time in program history and won their first national title.
Reese was a key figure during the 2022-23 season, as she led the team with 23.0 points, 15.4 rebounds, 1.8 steals, and 1.6 blocks per game.
In LSU’s dominant 102-85 win over Iowa in the title game, the 6’3″ sophomore had 15 points, five assists, and a team-high 10 rebounds.
She may have received backlash, but it has led to her receiving NILs in the process which has greatly turned her bank account upside down.
