As expected, one of the nation’s elite defensive players is officially heading to the NFL this year.
Per ESPN’s Alex Scarborough, Alabama Crimson Tide edge rusher Dallas Turner revealed that he’s leaving the college ranks to declare for the NFL Draft. Turner told Scarborough, “I’m gone,” after the Crimson Tide fell to the Michigan Wolverines in the Rose Bowl.
This isn’t a surprise whatsoever. Turner has long been viewed as a first-round pick in the nation, and he obviously had absolutely nothing else to prove at the collegiate level.
The Crimson Tide superstar finished the 2023 season with 10 total sacks. He’s just one of several Alabama stalwarts that will turn pro come the 2024 April Draft.
