The loses for the Alabama Crimson Tide football team are continuing to pile up.
After losing their head coach Nick Saban to retirement, several big-name players have decided to follow him out the door and announce their intention to enter the transfer portal. And the latest is top-ranked quarterback recruit Julian Sayin.
According to the report, Sayin is expected to “initiate the transfer process” today.
The move by Sayin comes just one day after former Washington Huskies quarterback Austin Mack announced his intention to follow former Huskies head coach Kalen DeBoer to Alabama.
With Mack joining current starter Jalen Milroe, things were getting a little too crowded in the Crimson Tide quarterback room, leaving Sayin with little choice but to find a new school if he wants to be a starter anytime soon.
Sayin was the no. 1 rated quarterback of the 2024 draft class. He should have plenty of suitors once he officially enters the portal later today.
