The Alabama Crimson Tide will be restocking on talent this offseason, especially after they lost three key players today.
Three members of the team won’t be there in 2023 after they declared for the NFL Draft. They include Alabama pass rusher Will Anderson, a potential top 3 pick. QB Bryce Young, the potential No. 1 pick and RB Jahmyr Gibbs.
Young will exit his career in Tuscaloosa as one of the most iconic quarterbacks to play for the Crimson Tide. He is the first to have won the Heisman Trophy.
During the 2021 season, he set the program’s single-season record for passing yards with 4,872 and touchdowns with 47. That year saw him as a starter who won the Crimson Tide the SEC Championship and earned Alabama a spot in the College Football Playoff Championship where it lost to Georgia.
Young accounted for 50 total touchdowns in his sophomore season and 36 in his junior year. Young finished the 2022 season with 3,328 yards, 32 touchdowns, and five interceptions over 12 games
