Earlier on Friday, social media was buzzing about a video that seemingly showed a guy that looked eerily similar to Aaron Rodgers randomly riding in the back of a pickup truck holding a case of beer.
Hours later, the Green Bay Packers quarterback took to Twitter and confirmed that it was indeed him.
“Ya that was me,” Rodgers tweeted. He said the truck belongs to LT David Bakhtiari … as do the “soggy beer cases.”
The video was posted to TikTok and eventually made its way to Twitter. The future hall of famer could be seen in the bed area of a red GMC Truck as they drove near Lambeau Field.
Former Packers player AJ Hawk says this isn’t unusual for Green Bay. “He’s riding back to Lambeau from practice. That’s the little drive you have to make in your pads, so you just hop in the back of somebody’s truck,” Hawk told McAfee.
