We’ve seen some pretty pad onside kicks over the years, but not many of them end up in negative yards.
That happened on Thursday when the University of Jamestown needed to get the ball back as they were down 24-7 in the fourth quarter to the Valley City State Vikings.
The onside kick started out weird as one player was turned backwards as the kicker hit the ball and it went backwards instead towards the opposing team where everybody would meet and try to obtain the ball.
