Alabama players are continuing to abandon ship some 48 hours after the team took on the Georgia Bulldogs in the National Championship game.
On Tuesday, seven Crimson Tide players reportedly entered the NCAA transfer portal. One of them was a quarterback.
On Wednesday, Nick Saban’s Alabama squad reportedly lost four walk-on players to the transfer portal: QB Stone Hollenbach, QB Braxton Barker, DB Clark Griffin and TE Colin Bryant, per Crimson Tide insider Tony Tsoukalas.
Aside from Hollenbach and Barker, four-star signal caller Paul Tyson, great grandson of Alabama legend Bear Bryant, also announced his intent to transfer. That is three quarterbacks that are now headed elsewhere.
Alabama will also lose multiple scholarship players: four-star tight end Jahleel Billingsley, five-star linebacker Drew Sanders, four-star LB King Mwikuta and four-star offensive tackle Tommy Brown.
More players are expected to leave, but this is just a blip on the radar for Bama as we all know these players will be replaced and the program will be right back for fighting for a National Title next season.
