Arch Manning needs to be a starter! How he’s riding the pine and possibly this season as well can’t be possible.
The Manning family has been known to produce the best of the best quarterbacks and Arch Manning is a HOT, HOT commodity!
With the college season over and Quinn Ewers returning for his senior season there is a lot to consider.
Arch Manning was the first high school quarterback to garner so much attention since Vince Young; and in today’s age of social media, Manning probably ended up with more notoriety,
Here are ten schools being named potential transfer spots for Arch Manning.
10. LSU
It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Arch manning move back home to Louisiana, just an hour and a half drive from his hometown of New Orleans. Louisiana State University has been a an under the radar contender in the SEC since Joe Burrow left for the NFL, and with current quarterback Jayden Daniels ending his college career as a Heisman winner, the quarterback position has an opening. What kid wouldn’t jump on the opportunity to play football for their home team? Especially when that team is ranked in the Top 25.

9. USC
With Heisman Trophy Winner Caleb Williams declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft, and Head Coach Lincoln Riley coming off of a disappointing season for USC, finding a big-name quarterback to sell tickets may be the way to go for the Trojans. Barring any transfers, Manning would be entering a quarterback room with the current USC backup; redshirt sophomore Miller Moss, who was a four star recruit out of California. As well as Malachi Nelson, a five-star recruit beginning his freshman season in 2024. Manning would have to fight for the starting spot, but he would certainly have a shot at beating out a freshman and an unexperienced backup.
8. Auburn
Ever since Bo Nix was driven out of Auburn, the team has struggled to find their “guy”. In fact, it could be argued that since Cam Newton the team has been unable to find a star player to lead the offense. Digression aside, Arch manning could totally come into Auburn and bet the best quarterback since Cam Newton. Considering the fact that Auburn fans desire some high-powered offense, Manning may be the guy that provides a spark for the entire program.
7. Washington
With the exception of four-star recruit Austin Mack beginning his college career in 2024, the UW Quarterback spot is up in the air. Michael Penix will be entering the 2024 NFL Draft, and current backup Dylan Morris will be entering his Redshirt Senior season having thrown 20 career touchdowns to 17 interceptions. Despite being a starter for most of the Huskies’ 2021 season, Morris has accumulated more losses than wins in his career and has struggled taking care of the ball. The University of Washington is entering a new conference, and with one of the best receiving corps in the nation Seattle may be in the back of Manning’s mind.
6. Ole Miss
Ole Miss has found themselves in a comfortable spot in the SEC. Now Bowl Eligible for the third year in a row, Ole Miss has been led by Jaxson Dart. Dart hasn’t been a superstar for the Rebels, but he has done enough to help the team win games. If Manning were to transfer to his Uncle Eli’s Alma mater (which is another reason why Ole Miss made this list) He could make an impact once Jaxson Dart decides to declare for the Draft in 2025. In addition, Manning would be coached by none other than Lane Kiffin, who has built up quite the resume as a college coach.
5. Ohio State
Despite being a top five team, Ohio State has taken a step back on offense. Some thought that Kyle McCord was a rebound quarterback to replace C.J Stroud. McCord has shown himself to be a reliable game manager, but not a crazy superstar. Arch in Ohio, wouldn’t that be fun?
4. Tulane
It’s not every day that we get to see a five-star recruit play in a lower level FBS conference, so imagine how fun it would be to watch Arch Manning tear it up in the American Athletic Conference. Tulane is currently the highest ranked non-power five team, and with quarterback Michael Pratt running out of eligibility, Manning would have to beat out a couple of three-star recruits for the starting job in order to take over the green Wave offense.
3. Louisville
The Louisville Cardinals have two senior quarterbacks on their roster in 2023. The current third string is a Junior named Harrison Bailey who has thrown seven touchdowns and less than 1,000 yards in four years. Bailey will be entering his Redshirt Senior season in 2024 and is Manning’s only real competition at a school gaining new opponents with conference realignment rules beginning in 2024.
2. Alabama
Many college football fans initially predicted Arch Manning to commit to Alabama when Bryce Young declared for the NFL draft, but that didn’t happen. Current Alabama QB Jaylen Milroe has the potential to be an NFL caliber quarterback, but who will replace Milroe when he is gone? Perhaps, Arch manning?
1. Oregon
It’s no secret that Bo Nix will be a highly touted prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft, but what Oregon head coach Dan Lanning is worried about is who will replace Bo Nix heading into the 2024 season. Oregon has given transfer players new life, and Bo Nix is an example of this, finding success at Oregon after transferring to Eugene from Auburn. Manning’s style of quarterback play is similar to Nix’s, so Manning could definitely fit pro-style of offense and continue Oregon’s success without skipping a beat.
