Zion Williamson has his family behind him despite social media coming at him over his personal life.
At an event to announce a new partnership between Jefferson Parish Schools and the Zion Williamson Foundation, Williamson’s stepfather, Anderson Lee, stepped up to the microphone and seemingly respond to the recent social media drama with adult stars.
“And I want to say this… and I want to be politically correct when I say it.,” Anderson said.
“That’s my son and I love him. When I was a child; I walked like a child, talked like a child, and did childish things. But, when I became a man… when I understood, God blessed me.”
“Believe half of what you see and nothing you hear. That’s all I want to say,” Anderson continued to a chorus of applause. “I stand by my son one hundred percent. I wasn’t always where I am today.”
All of this hoopla started when Williamson announced his girlfriend, Ahkeema, was pregnant with his first child.

The announcement set off a firestorm from adult star, Moriah Mills. She seemed really bitter as she went on a multi-tweet spree claiming that she recently had relations with the New Orleans Pelicans star, and could not believe he got another woman pregnant.
She added: “Better pray I’m not pregnant too because I’m definitely late @Zionwilliamson.”
Zion played just 29 games for the New Orleans Pelicans last year and averaged 26 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and one steal. The Pelicans did not have him for their play-in game and they lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder, thereby keeping them out of the playoffs one year after they won their way into the first round.
