Since before Zion Williamson made his debut on an NBA floor, there were questions surrounding his weight and continues to be a talking point during the NBA restart in Orlando.
Williamson is a once-in-a-generation athlete, but he is currently at 285 pounds, and fans began to take notice how he gets up and down the floor during some Pelicans’ games.
After constantly facing questions about his size and weight throughout his rookie year, Williamson has finally addressed his frame.
“Everybody is entitled to their own opinion,” Williamson said. “I’m just going to stick to the opinions of the people closest to me and my team, and just go from there.”
Williamson has averaged 22.5 points and 6.3 rebounds per game when he is on the court this year. More games and he would seriously be a lock to win rookie of the year.
