Zion Williamson has not played in a game since November 6th but is being applauded for his latest actions involving the New Orleans community.
The New Orleans Pelicans star forward made a donation in support of the victims of the deadly New Year’s Day attack on Bourbon Street in New Orleans.
ESPN’s Malika Andrews announced on Friday that he would donate $100,000 to the Greater New Orleans Foundation’s Tragedy Fund, saying, “As a father, son, and someone who loves the community, this hit me hard. This isn’t just about money—it’s about standing together and making sure no one feels alone.”

Zion Williamson Once Donated $250K to Jefferson Parish Schools
New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson has always been thoughtful.
This week, Williamson made a $100,000 donation to the Greater New Orleans Foundation’s Tragedy fund after a man named Shamsud-Din Jabbar intentionally drove into a crowd of people on Bourbon Street in the French Quarter and killed 14.
Back in 2023, the Zion Williamson Foundation donated $250,000 to students in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana.
His money went toward helping students purchase school uniforms needed after consolidations necessitated them changing schools.
