Yesterday it was being reported that New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson likely wouldn’t be making an appearance on the hardcourt this season.
As you probably know by now, Zion’s been sitting out the entire 2021-22 campaign with a nagging foot injury that’s lingered throughout the season. And with the Pelicans well out of playoff contention, it just doesn’t make any sense to try and bring the young phenom back for the last few weeks.
Throughout this entire saga, plenty of questions have been raised regarding Zion’s health and his well-documented weight issues. Monday’s announcement about him missing the rest of the season certainly didn’t help ease the nerves of his fans, so Williamson decided to post a little video to Instagram to help calm his supporters and silence his critics.
In the video, a slim-looking Zion throws down an off-the-backboard, through-the-legs dunk with his shirt off. Check it out:
I’m not sure about you, but Zion certainly doesn’t look fat or injured to me!
