A massive trade that would see the Philadelphia 76ers land both Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram has been proposed following another disastrous Philly campaign.
The Sixers have been urged to blow everything up after yet another failed attempt at “The Process” as Joel Embiid is going to demand a trade sooner or later given the nonsense he’s had to endure over the last few years.
James Harden has already asked out, publicly calling Daryl Morey a “liar” while stating he will never play for any organization the president is a part of.
Fadeaway World’s Lee Tran has suggested a move for the Sixers that could go a long way into aiding a rebuild. As mentioned above, it involves said New Orleans Pelicans stars.
“Any team with a healthy Zion Williamson can be a great regular-season squad,” Tran writes. “He would also have players such as Brandon Ingram and Tyrese Maxey supporting him, and in the East, those three players are enough to get far. Though neither Williamson nor Ingram are as good as Embiid, perhaps getting both of them can alleviate the sting of his departure.”
So how would Philly make such a trade happen?

Tran outlines a move that would seal departures for both Embiid and Harden, with the Pels receiving the two stars in exchange for Zion, Ingram, Jonas Valanciunas, a 2024 first-round pick, and a 2030 first-round pick.
Of course, there would be questions over Zion’s fitness and his commitment to remaining on the floor as he appeared in just 29 games last season.
Any team trading for the former Duke star will appreciate that it’s a risk, though he does appear to have undergone another transformation this summer. The Sixers are also a special case as they would be in a tight spot if Embiid asks for a move as well.
