According to a report from The Athletic’s Shams Charania, YouTuber Jake Paul will fight ex-NBA player Nate Robinson as part of the undercard of the upcoming fight between 54-year-old Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr.
“I wanted to show that I’m a world-class athlete,” Robinson said, according to Charania. “I played college football, played in the NBA for 11 years, and I’m excited for this venture into the sport of Boxing. Jake Paul, I want all the smoke.”
After one year of playing football at Washington, Robinson was a two-time First Team All-Pac-10 player on the basketball floor for the Huskies, and would go on to be drafted by the Phoenix Suns with the 21st overall pick in 2005 and would remain in the NBA through the 2015 season, playing for eight different franchises.
