Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green recently shared his opinion on the playoff matchup between the Suns and the Timberwolves. Green believes that the series could use some more excitement and suggests that Kevin Durant should guard Anthony Edwards for the remainder of the series.
He arrived at this conclusion after seeing Edwards score over 30 points and yell at Durant. Green thinks that Kevin Durant should focus on defensive skills while his teammates take on the offensive responsibilities.
During a recent episode of his own podcast ‘The Draymond Green Show’, green made some comments about Kevin Durant and Phoenix Suns.
“What the Phoenix Suns are going to have to do is play KD on Anthony Edwards for the entire series. That has to be his matchup. What Phoenix has to do is rely on Devin Booker, Bradley Beal, and Grayson Allen. You’re gonna have to hit some shots. They are going to have to rely on those guys to carry the load offensively. To ask Kevin to go try to lock up Anthony Edwards and then go carry the load on the offensive end, he is in year 18, it ain’t happening every night,” Green said in the podcast.

In order for the Phoenix Suns to make a comeback and potentially win the series, Durant may have to focus all of his time and effort on stopping Anthony Edwards.
Kevin Durant had an impressive performance in Game 1, scoring 31 points, grabbing seven rebounds, and recording one assist, one steal, and one block.
