In a recent episode of ‘First Take,’ Stephen A. Smith, Shannon Sharpe, and Brian Windhorst discussed the likelihood of the Oklahoma City Thunder winning the playoffs. During the conversation, Shannon Sharpe expressed his opinion that the Oklahoma City Thunder are the weakest No. 1 seed in the NBA in a very long time.
“Do you actually think that the OKC Thunder is gonna make it all the way to the Western Conference [Finals]? This might be the weakest No. 1 seed in the NBA in a very long time.” Sharpe asked during the interview.
“Wow. The disrespect for Oklahoma City is crazy. Be careful because you’re going to regret those words,” Windhorst replied during the interview.
The Oklahoma City Thunder have returned to the playoffs for the first time since 2020, following the losses of Chris Paul, Paul George, and Russell Westbrook. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and other teammates made it possible for the team.
