The Los Angeles Lakers are not having it easy in the post-season. They have lost three games in the first round of the playoffs to the Denver Nuggets, giving Nikola Jokic and Co. a massive advantage in the series. Following their Game 3 loss, LeBron James and Anthony Davis attended a press conference to answer questions and reveal their plans for the future.
During the conference, one reporter asked Anthony Davis about the squad’s psychological condition after losing eleven straight games to the Nuggets this season. AD had a well-framed response for the journalist.

“Our focus and our metal right now is to tryna get one, tryna get a game and then go from there. Tryna get a game on Saturday and go from there… Our focus is trying to get better from tonight and learn from our mistakes,” said Davis. The Lakers big man highlighted that purple and gold will be looking forward to getting the next game and continuing the series rather than dwelling on the past.
LeBron James also jumped on AD’s bandwagon and supported his statements further in the conference. “It’s one game at a time at this point… As long as you still have life, then you always have belief; you play until the wheels fall off. That’s what it’s always about for me as a mindset,” said LeBron, highlighting that the Lakers will try their best to get Game 4 and force Game 5 to continue the series.
