Russell Westbrook has been a great leader for the Los Angeles Clippers and recently showcased his leadership qualities. The Clippers star is a game veteran and suitable to lead a squad younger than him.
Although Harden and PG-13 are in the same age group as Westbrook, they have also accepted him as a leader. Mr. Triple Double was injured a few weeks earlier and made his return to the court in the game against the Clippers.

Russell Westbrook rallies Clippers following loss to Pacers
Russell Westbrook rallied the Los Angeles Clippers after suffering a disappointing defeat at the hands of the Pacers. He gave a speech in the post-game interview where he explained his role as a leader in the Clippers locker room. Mr. Triple Double took responsibility for the loss and shared it with the whole team to avoid blaming anyone.
“You do not point fingers, you do not point blame… I think as each individual, we have to look within ourselves and figure out how we can better help our team. And I think that is where we start… Ultimately as a leader, it is my job to hold guys accountable, hold myself accountable, and to make sure that we stay together through this tough little patch that we are having,” said Westbrook. He highlighted the team spirit in the Clippers and also reminded the fans that the tough period would pass away.
Pacers spoil Westbrook injury return
Russell Westbrook returned to the game against the Indiana Pacers after being out for a long time. However, his return was not the very best as the Clippers succumbed to Tyrese Haliburton and his squad. The Clippers gave the Pacers a tough fight but eventually lost with a final score of 133-116. Westbrook had suffered a hand fracture which kept him out for twelve games, his return was anticipated but was spoiled by the loss.

This was the fifth straight home loss for the Clippers which pushed them towards the danger zone in the standings. “We have to be tougher mentally and physically,” said Ty Lue. The Head coach of the Clippers believes that his team has gone soft and he urged them to become stronger. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George each scored 26 points against the Pacers but they were unable to secure the victory.
