Minnesota Timberwolves’ star Anthony Edwards is well-known for his confident remarks and exceptional athleticism. His close-knit circle of friends, who have immense faith in his abilities on the court, mirrored this bold attitude.
Recently, Edwards’ friend Nick Maddox showcased this confidence during an interview. When asked who could stop Edwards, the interviewer suggested several prominent players, starting with Nikola Jokic. The friend’s immediate response was a resolute “Hell no.”
The interviewer continued to list other notable names, including Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Rudy Fernandez, Josh Giddey, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, and Nicolas Batum. Each time, Edwards’ friend confidently asserted that Anthony Edwards has superior athleticism over all of these players.
Edwards loves to brag about his athleticism. He even declared him the No.1 option of Team USA during a July training camp. “I’m still the No. 1 option. Y’all might look at it differently, but I don’t,” he said.
