Jimmy Butler will wear casual clothes when the Miami Heat play the Boston Celtics on Wednesday. Jimmy hasn’t played since the Heat’s play-in tournament loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on April 17. But Miami, who defeated the Chicago Bulls to claim the eighth spot in the East, earned the opportunity to play Boston. Boston currently leads the series 3-1 as per the NBA Standings.
Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo have led the Heat’s offensive line in Butler’s absence. They lost the first two games to their overwhelming advantage, but in the second, they startled the Celtics with unbelievable long-range shooting. He can only support his squad as Miami prepares to take an early holiday.
Jimmy Butler was going for a layup late in the first quarter of Game 1 when Kelly Oubre Jr. came swooping in to attempt to block his shot. The Miami Heat star’s leg was struck by the Philadelphia 76ers forward as they collided. Butler grimaced in discomfort while remaining on the court for a few minutes before finishing the quarter.
He made it through the blow and contributed to Miami’s heartbreaking 105-104 defeat for three more quarters. The Heat stated that Butler would have imaging following the game, and he had a limp as he departed the arena.
