Will Cain is back saying controversial things, but he never actually stopped, just moved them to a different network.
The Fox News personality is coming to the defense of Ja Morant as he does not agree with the NBA suspending Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant for waving a gun on camera again.
The video surfaced online over the weekend a few hours before Game 7 between the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers in the Eastern Conference semifinals. In it, Morant can be seen in a car dancing to a song with a friend.
The friend makes a gun gesture with his hand, but once he panned over to Morant, he put up an actual gun. The friend immediately pans away.
Shortly after the video went viral, the NBA announced Morant was suspended pending a league review.
Cain doesn’t understand why the league felt the need to suspend him again.
“Explain to me something,” Cain said on Twitter. “Does Ja Morant not have 2A rights? Can he not do what he wants outside of his work environment if it’s still legal? It may be stupid, but I don’t know what he’s done to be suspended.”

This marks the second time in three months that Morant was suspended by the Grizzlies for broadcasting a gun on social media. In March, Morant similarly appeared to display a gun on Instagram Live, resulting in an eight-game suspension and a brief check-in at a Florida counseling program.
At the time, he talked a good game about changing, but it’s clear he has learned nothing and will likely lose even more games and possibly endorsements over this latest incident.
Morant was linked to several gun-related incidents during the NBA season. The path he is headed down is a dark one that could lead him out of the league.
If Morant was indeed flashing a firearm on the Instagram Live story, it’s entirely possible that it was a legal gun, meaning the Grizzlies’ point guard was not committing a crime. However, his employer can suspend him for a substantial amount of time, which is what is expected to happen.
