While talking about his tattoos, Durant once revealed the inspiration behind the art: “I was just a big fan of tattoos always growing up, and I wanted something cool that symbolizes what I’ve been through in my life, and everything on my chest and my back is like a collage.”

Abdomen Tattoos
Easy Money’s abdomen tattoos reflect his belief in Christianity. On his left rib is a portrait of Jesus Christ, and the right part of his stomach features his favorite quote from 2 Corinthians 5:7, “Walk By Faith, Not By Sight.” Durant has a cross tattoo and another biblical quote on his lower right stomach. The text reads, “The fear of the LORD teaches a man wisdom, and humility comes before honor.”
Apart from his religious beliefs, the Phoenix Suns star has inked “Hut” and “301” on his left stomach area. While the hut is the ancestral home he grew up in, 301 is the region code. On his lower back, Durant has a massive biblical inscription that reads, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”

A tattoo of a lion on his right leg shows his fierce approach to the game.
Apart from them, Durant has inked his hometown, “Maryland,” on his shoulder blades, just like LeBron James’ “Akron” tattoo. Before entering college, the Slim Reaper played for National Christian Academy and Montrose Christian School in Maryland. The only tattoo visible on Durant during games is an italicized letter “R” on his right wrist. However, the meaning behind this tattoo is unknown.
