Following the Minnesota Timberwolves’ elimination from the Western Conference finals, Anthony Edwards of the team addressed a message to the Wolves’ supporters. In five games, Minnesota failed to defeat the Dallas Mavericks. Their singer is optimistic that they will return even stronger the following year.
As their season came to a close, their star gave the supporters hope that they would be back stronger the following year. The squad has an opportunity to perform better the following season since they have a fantastic collection of players and a knowledgeable coaching staff. As the offseason approached, Edwards posted a positive message for the supporters on social media.
Anthony Edwards said on X’s posted video: “What’s up y’all, it’s your boy Ant here. I just want to tell y’all, Minnesota, the fans… everybody in Minnesota, the whole state. We appreciate y’all for supporting us, we’ll be back next year. So just keep pulling up, and we gone put on a show next year.”
In a video, Edwards revealed to the supporters his intentions to steer the Wolves toward success the following season. One of the greatest surprises in the NBA this season was Edwards and the Wolves. They won 58 games, which gave them their best record since the 2003–04 campaign. Despite having a lot of potential, the team failed when it mattered most during their playoff run.

Fans will still be able to see Anthony Edwards play basketball at a high level, even after he was eliminated from the playoffs. Edwards will compete in the Summer Olympics in Paris as a member of the US basketball team in 2024. However, Kevin Garnett, a former player for the Timberwolves, believes that Team USA’s coaches shouldn’t give Ant much playing time.

Garnett said (15:57): “Another thing to Minnesota’s ownership, make sure in these Olympics that these Olympic coaches do not play Anthony Edwards. Because it will be a lot of those little games that people don’t really talk about.”
The Wolves need KG since they’ve made it possible for them to compete in the playoffs, but he thinks the Olympic games might impact his 2024–25 performance.
