Following the Boston Celtics’ 18th championship victory over the Dallas Mavericks, Jaylen Brown was awarded the NBA Finals MVP. Brown earned the title of best player for the Celtics in the NBA Finals and deserved it. In the game that won the championship, he also praised Jayson Tatum, the team’s most outstanding player.

Brown said during the award ceremony (0:48): “It was a full team effort and I share this with my brothers and my partner in crime Jayson Tatum. He was with me the whole way so we share this sh*t together,”
He added: “My faith in the Most High, just believing in my teammates, my coaching staff and just being grateful. I’ve been grateful for every moment, every opportunity. I never hung my head. I don’t care. I don’t give a f*ck what nobody got to say and we come out and we play basketball.”
This marks the Boston Celtics’ 18th championship, the highest for any NBA Franchise. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown were incredible throughout this run. Both of them have attended two NBA Finals and six Eastern Conference Finals. They’ve won a title together now.
