Paul Pierce has settled into a different angle of the NBA. After playing 19 seasons with four different teams in the NBA, Pierce is finally doing his job as an analyst. The former NBA Finals MVP and ten-time All-Star co-hosts Fox Sports’ hit show Undisputed with Skip Bayless and Keyshawn Johnson.
One of the most anticipated women’s basketball tournament matches in decades was the clash between Iowa and LSU, who met in last year’s championship game in Albany. The crowd was curious to see Caitlin Clark face off against Angel Reese.
Paul Pierce suggested that Clark wasn’t going to be able to cope with the challenge because she was playing against a team that was primarily made up of black players.
Pierce showed compassion while pointing out that Reese has been bearing the consequences of his achievements. He emphasized the fact that difficulties for a “woman in sports” are numerous due to the increased scrutiny that comes with popularity.
“We saw a White girl in Iowa do it to a bunch of Black girls. That gained my respect, She didn’t do this to some other little White girls that was over here in Colorado or whatever. She did this to some girls from LSU, who we thought were dogs, defending champs.” Pierce said on during the discussion on Fox Sports’ hit show Undisputed.

Since the 2023 title game, Angel Reese’s reputation has been called into doubt by the media. Although Pierce also added some points concerning Angel Reese.
“Everybody is not gonna like you, everybody is not gonna agree with you. Everybody is not gonna be on your side. That’s what success is all about.” Pierce said.
With 41 points, 12 assists, and 7 rebounds, Caitlin Clark had a huge game to help the Hawkeyes defeat the Tigers 94-87. One of the biggest names in women’s basketball put on an incredible performance; perhaps she was seeking revenge for the heartbreaking finals loss the previous year.
