After winning game 5 against the Indiana Pacers, Patrick Beverley was interviewed about his mentality during the game. Beverly mentioned that his team was determined to win for their fans. He acknowledged that the Bucks have some of the best fans in the league, and he couldn’t let them down.
“We couldn’t let the fans down. We have some of the best fans in the NBA; we can’t let them down.” Beverley said during the interview.
Pat Beverley was the victim of countless jokes after the Milwaukee Bucks’ Game 4 playoff loss to the Indiana Pacers on Sunday night. But in Game 5, with Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo out again, Beverley delivered a critical early offensive and defensive punch.
When Beverley produced his largest contribution in the second quarter, the game swung in Milwaukee’s favor. In Tuesday’s 115-92 win against Indiana in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, Beverley had 13 points, four rebounds, 12 assists, one block, and two steals in 36 minutes.
Beverley recorded his sixth double-double in 70 NBA Playoff games
In the victory, Beverley went back in time to record his first double-double of the season. Damian Lillard is out, so Beverley has taken on a far larger role than he anticipated. It was Beverley’s sixth double-double in 70 NBA Playoff games, according to StatMuse, and it came at a critical time for the Milwaukee Bucks.

Beverley had his teammates by his side as they mercilessly defeated the Pacers. Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis led the Bucks with 29 points each, while Malik Beasley scored eighteen.
The aim is to continue the series in Milwaukee and have a seventh game at the Fiserv Forum on Saturday. Despite their previous performance on Tuesday night, it would be unwise to underestimate the Bucks.
