LeBron James is as good in Year 21 as he was during his rookie year. The 4 time NBA champion showed his pedigree again when his team needed him the most.
During a crucial moment in regulation time, Jordan Poole had enough space to put the ball in and ensure that the game ended but LeBron had other ideas. He turned back time and kept up with Poole. He chased the former NBA champion and blocked his shot. It reminded many people of the title-winning block he made back in 2016.
This moment, too, came at a crucial time and then he scored a three to tie the game and take it to overtime. Other than that, LeBron scored 31 points and gave nine assists. He has turned out to be a true No. 1 in a team that needs him the most.

With a double-double of 40 points and 15 rebounds while shooting 63.6 percent from the field, Davis achieved his eighth consecutive double-double. On the defensive end of the court, he was unstoppable as usual, blocking three shots and grabbing a steal.
Despite the loss, Poole thrived off the bench for Washington. The 24-year-old scored a season-high 34 points while racking up seven assists, shooting 50 percent from the field and 41.7 percent from three.
After James’ 31-point performance, he’s currently nine points away from becoming the first player to score 40,000 points in NBA history. His next opportunity to meet the historic total will come on Saturday against the Denver Nuggets.
