Derrick Rose, the former MVP, receives fresh facial tattoos that honor his wife, Alaina A. Anderson. Rose took his time over the extended Memorial Day weekend, applying fresh ink to his body in a new design that had special meaning for him. The backup point guard for the Memphis Grizzlies right now went to his favorite tattoo artist to get fresh pieces.
For the upcoming season, viewers will need time to get used to seeing Rose’s face. Over the weekend, the seasoned point guard adorned his body with three fresh decorations. Derrick Rose has a tattoo next to his left ear that is dedicated to his wife. His wife’s initials, three letter A’s, were included in the design.
On the left temple, there was additional artwork that said “Privilege Knowledge.” Derrick Rose also had giant artwork on his abdomen that said “Khammurrabi.” The tattoo artist, Jose Guijosa, also revealed that the former Chicago Bulls player had a family memorial touched upon his hand.
Rose will have a new appearance in the upcoming season as fresh tattoos have been applied to his body. However, TMZ claims that Guijosa has worked with clients outside the NBA. The artist has created pieces for Rose’s former colleague Obi Toppin and Utah Jazz guard Talen Horton-Tucker.
Derrick Rose Is Known to Have a Taste in Tattoos Since the Pandemic
The COVID-19 epidemic suspended the campaign for the 2019–20 season. Resuming in Orlando, the league’s NBA Bubble had the majority of its clubs in one location. The Detroit Pistons chose not to participate in the Bubble, and the NBA could not convince all 30 clubs to do so.
When he was a member of the Pistons, Derrick Rose had a lot of free time. He visited Guijosa, better known on Instagram as Killer Tattoos, his regular artist. The artist disclosed in a work update that Rose went on a tattoo frenzy, getting five new designs on his body.
