D’Angelo Russell has finally come clutch. The player ensured that the Los Angeles Lakers achieved a victory against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Russell was excellent throughout the whole game, but their one-point victory was mostly due to his clutch brilliance.
D’Lo made a three-point shot with 1:15 left in the game to trim the margin to two points. He made a big and-1 to cut the Bucks’ advantage to one point 35 seconds later. Ultimately, the 28-year-old made the game-winning bucket in less than 6 seconds.
One of the names to surface in trade speculations was D’Angelo Russell, following a lackluster performance in December. When it was said that the Lakers were considering trade for Zach LaVine, D’Lo was among the names that were being floated.
The second choice in the 2015 draft produced an excellent performance as a result of the speculations.
He changed gears and became more effective in January, averaging 22.7 points and 6 assists per game. According to ESPN, he followed up his outstanding performance in February with 20.2 points, 7.5 assists, and 4.1 rebounds per game.

D’Angelo Russell led a LeBron less Lakers to a victory
LeBron James missed Friday night’s game due to injury, but D’Angelo Russell made up for it with 21 of his season-high 44 points in the fourth quarter and a game-winning shot with 5.9 seconds remaining as the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 123-122.
Just before the buzzer, Spencer Dinwiddie stopped Damian Lillard’s step-back jumper to preserve a thrilling victory for the Lakers. James, on the other hand, rested his ailing left ankle and missed his ninth game of the season altogether because of the ongoing ailment.
Russell lifted them with a terrific game that included nine 3-pointers, tying his career record, and nine assists. In the last 1:13, he scored eight points as the Lakers overcame a late deficit.
The Bucks lost for the second straight game despite a strong performance by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who finished with 34 points, 14 rebounds, and 12 assists. Damian Lillard scored eight of his 28 points in the fourth quarter.
